it's a wrap!

We're in the process of packing up our things and making plans for our final two weeks in China and our upcoming two months in Russia. It's time to wrap up these sketch books and mail them home.

When I started this project, I really wasn't sure what I would end up with in the end or if I would even stick to it. I’ve made a few concessions along the way, including my decision to do six drawings a week rather than seven, but overall I’m really glad I decided to do this and stuck to my original plan. It’s given me some great drawing practice, made me pay attention to the little details of our new life and, most of all, I now have over 100 drawings that I didn’t have 6 months ago. A big thanks to everyone who had a chance to drop in and check these out over the past few months. We’ll continue posting updates on our trip at our Year-less-a-day site.

Happy travels!

Dianna

PS. When we settle down in Ottawa again, I hope to have these printed into a book to add to the rest of our mementos. When I do, I’ll be sure to include a link to the location in case anyone is interested in checking it out.

  2. “It has been great to know that there is someone out there that knows about falling down and getting back up. We always stay humble and never give up, and for the help of Mr Benjamin lee of getting me Loan from his firm to expand my business, at a pivotal time. The support I received from his loan firm was quite honest and an interesting low rate in return, Mr Benjamin Lee is a loan officer working with a group of investors which are willing to fund any type of business or give loan for personal use as long as their repayment is guaranteed.
